Hiking
Another of the trails with impressive views and full of history is the one that ascends from Murla to the top of Penyó Roig, the summit of Cavall Verd and the place where the rebellious Moors took refuge in the 17th century following the expulsion decree. . At its summit there are the remains of a fortress and we can contemplate the entire Alicante mountain system. From there it is possible to continue the journey along the Cavall ridge and end in the Vall de Laguar (Fleix or Benimaurell). There you will find what is probably the most beautiful cobbled path in the entire Valencian Community and one of the most beautiful trails in Spain, the Camí de les Jovades.
